MY CUTE SNAILS

Cute snails ?? seriously? you might be thinking. Well... they are, to me. 

Despite of the love I have developed regarding snails, I really dont know much about them. Therefore, before postig these few photos of "my cute snails", I read a bit about the snails of Sri Lanka.

According to the facts I have learnt there, there are 246 species of land snails here. Out of them, 218 of them are endemic to Sri Lanka. Quite a large no..! Isn't it?

So, have a look at some of my photos and tell me how you feel about them.

Do you love birds?
Well.... I do
That was the main reason I started photography. In the first place, I bought my camera to capture birds. ( Now I know my Canon 1100 does not help much in bird photography)
Daily I struggle to photograph at least one bird. Amost all the time, I fail , but there are several photos I would like to share here.

By the way, if you really want to see what "real bird photography " is , you would love to see photos of these photographers.

ABSTRACT

It was a long time ago, I last posted to this blog. 
As both my friend "Dynamic" and my self became busy with our lives, carreers and other duties, we missed to continue this blog. 
(I have to admit the fact that, I was a bit lazy too.)

Since the time we last posted to this, we have learnt a lot about photography. 
My beloved friend "dynamic" has become a professional wedding photographer now. 

(Well.... myself is still that apprentice who loafs around with the camera in hand.)

However, with time i have developed a huge interest in Macro and Abstract photography, so that i thought of posting some of my macros to start over.
If this be an inspiration to "Dynamic" to be active in 'blogging' again, I would be joyous.

Along with the previous capture, I found some different composition. Organizing team of the beach party of Netstarter were early. We were enjoying the sunset.

What I saw was not only me, sunset has made some of the guests to enjoy.. Because I thought, this photo will tell us a deep story, I tried my IPod to take the snapshot!

Sunset is always beautiful. Sometimes its more than beautiful, awesome. There are some other times, it gives an extra ordinary beauty where we cannot take our eyes away.

We were at the party organized by New comers to the Netstarter Pty. Ltd. (Including Me) at Steam Boat, Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka. I needed to preserve what I saw. Unfortunately, I had no DSLR nor SLR nor Point and Shoot only my IPod Touch. Even if its not impressive at photo shooting, I thought I should try with it. This is what I got.

Anavilundawa (AKA Anawilundawa) is a brids santuary in Sri Lanka.

So many birds, nature full lakes and bushes and silence of a true calmness is always possible at Anavilundawa.

We went there to take a moment of rest for our busy lives...

Among dozens of birds, Still the beauty of a bush was not avoidable at all!
